According to sources, the film is being developed under Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. This makes the project even more special because Main Hoon Na was the first movie produced under this banner. An insider revealed, “This film holds a special place in Shah Rukh and Gauri’s hearts, and they are excited about the sequel.”

The idea for Main Hoon Na 2 comes from director Farah Khan, who has been working on a fresh and exciting storyline. Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly loved the concept and is keen on making the film. However, the superstar is taking a cautious approach. “SRK wants to ensure that the sequel is made with a solid script and not just as a cash grab,” a source explained.
If everything goes as planned, Main Hoon Na 2 will be the fourth collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, following their successful films Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), and Happy New Year (2014).
