The Nusuk portal is a comprehensive online platform designed to help pilgrims plan and manage their journey to Makkah and Madinah with ease. It simplifies the entire process, from applying for an eVisa to booking accommodations and flights. With Nusuk, pilgrims can organize every detail of their trip, ensuring a hassle-free and fulfilling spiritual journey.
In 2024, the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage welcomed more than 18.5 million visitors, including over 13 million individuals who visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. This remarkable growth highlights the Kingdom’s dedication to enhancing services for pilgrims.
Saudi Arabia has been implementing advanced digital systems to modernize the pilgrimage experience. These technological improvements have not only made the journey more convenient but have also transformed the management and organization of Hajj operations. The introduction of digital services through Nusuk is a significant step toward providing exemplary support to pilgrims.
A century ago, the number of Hajj pilgrims stood at just 50,000. Today, this number has grown to approximately 2 million annually, demonstrating the Kingdom’s commitment to serving the Guests of Allah. Officials have traveled to 33 countries to better understand the needs of pilgrims and create comprehensive plans to meet their expectations.
Each year, planning for Hajj arrangements begins on the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah, ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place for the upcoming season. The fourth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, held in Jeddah, further emphasized Saudi Arabia’s continuous efforts to improve services and infrastructure for Hajj pilgrims.
With the enhanced Nusuk portal, Saudi Arabia reaffirms its dedication to making the Hajj and Umrah journey as comfortable and meaningful as possible, ensuring that every visitor enjoys a seamless and spiritual experience.
