A local court has extended the interim bail of famous TikToker Rajab Butt and his associates in a case related to alleged death threats against fellow social media influencer Umer Fayyaz Butt. The decision came during a hearing on Wednesday, where Additional Sessions Judge Abid Ali presided over the proceedings.
Court Update on Rajab Butt’s Case
Rajab Butt, along with co-accused Haider Ali and Maan Dogar, appeared in court seeking an extension of their interim bail. Their defense lawyer, Junaid Khan, argued that they had already cooperated with the investigation and requested the court to grant them permanent bail. However, the judge extended the interim bail until March 24 and directed the police to present their report at the next hearing.
What Led to the Case?
The controversy started last month when Rajab Butt, Maan Dogar, and Haider Shah allegedly went to Umer Fayyaz Butt’s house in the early hours, reportedly accompanied by armed individuals. Umer filed a complaint stating that Rajab and his associates had issued death threats and used abusive language against him during a TikTok live session. He called the incident an “attack on his dignity” and demanded legal action. Following his complaint, the police registered a case and initiated legal proceedings.
The Ongoing TikTok Feud
This legal battle is just one chapter in the ongoing online rivalry between Rajab Butt and Umer Fayyaz Butt. The two social media influencers have been engaged in a heated feud on TikTok for some time. The dispute escalated when Umer allegedly used offensive language about Rajab’s mother and sister during a live session. This angered Rajab and his supporters, leading to a strong reaction from his side.
In response, Rajab Butt defended his family and accused Umer and his brother, Ali Butt, of defaming several women. He even warned that he would expose their secrets if they continued to target his family. This back-and-forth has gained massive attention on social media, fueling controversy.
Rajab Butt’s History with Controversy
This is not the first time Rajab Butt has found himself in legal trouble. Known for his family vlogs and TikTok content, he has been involved in multiple disputes, including a separate case in Karachi. While his fans remain loyal, critics argue that his online activities often lead to unnecessary drama.
As the case continues, all eyes are on the upcoming hearing on March 24, where the police are expected to submit their findings. Until then, the rivalry between the two social media figures is likely to keep the online community buzzing.
