President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif both shared their best wishes for President Trump on this significant occasion. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his optimism for a strengthened partnership between Pakistan and the United States. Writing on X, the premier said, “I look forward to working with him to strengthen the enduring Pakistan-US partnership.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two nations, emphasizing decades of collaboration. He said that Pakistan and the United States have worked closely to promote peace and prosperity not just in the region but also globally. He expressed confidence that this cooperation would continue and grow stronger in the future.

President Asif Ali Zardari also extended his heartfelt congratulations and wished success to President Trump as he begins this new chapter.

Despite facing challenges such as two assassination attempts, a felony conviction, and an indictment related to his 2020 election loss, he vowed to bring about a “golden age of America.” Minutes after taking the oath of office, he declared, “The golden age of America begins right now.”
