The Government of Pakistan is all set to launch a groundbreaking initiative called “Home to Holy Land,” aiming to make the Hajj 2025 journey stress-free and smooth for pilgrims. This new program ensures that every step of the pilgrimage, from leaving home to returning, is well-managed and comfortable.
As part of this initiative, the government will appoint official guides, known as nazmeen, to support pilgrims throughout their journey. Around 600 nazmeen will be deployed, with each guide assisting a group of 150 pilgrims. These guides will accompany the pilgrims from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and back, ensuring safe travel and guiding them through the religious rituals of Hajj.
The nazmeen will also handle essential tasks such as organizing accommodations in Saudi Arabia and offering support during key religious ceremonies. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has emphasized the importance of these guides in ensuring that pilgrims can focus on their spiritual obligations without worrying about logistical challenges. Pilgrims will be informed about their assigned guides once flight schedules are finalized.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his strong commitment to providing the best possible services for Hajj pilgrims. In a recent meeting to review Hajj 2025 preparations, the Prime Minister highlighted that ensuring the comfort and well-being of pilgrims is a sacred duty. He assured that negligence in facilitating Hajj pilgrims will not be tolerated.
“We consider Hajj pilgrims as the guests of Allah, and serving them is our responsibility,” said PM Shehbaz. He has instructed the relevant authorities to thoroughly plan the selection and responsibilities of Hajj assistants (Moavineen Hajj) and provide all necessary facilities to ensure a smooth pilgrimage.
This new initiative is designed to address common logistical and operational challenges faced by Hajj pilgrims. It aims to enhance the overall experience by making the sacred journey more organized, comfortable, and memorable for all participants.
