
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the thrilling details of a tri-nation One Day International (ODI) series set to take place in February 2025. This series will feature Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa and promises to deliver action-packed cricket. The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the opening two matches of the series, while the National Bank Stadium in Karachi will stage the final league match and the grand finale. The series will kick off on Saturday, February 8, and conclude with the final on Friday, February 14.
The first match will see Pakistan face New Zealand at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium at 2:00 PM local time. Following that, New Zealand will take on South Africa in a day game on Monday, February 10, starting at 9:30 AM. The action will then shift to Karachi, where Pakistan will play South Africa in a day-night match on Wednesday, February 12, beginning at 2:00 PM. The much-anticipated final will also take place at the National Bank Stadium on February 14 at 2:00 PM.
To prepare for the series, Pakistan and New Zealand will train under the lights at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 6. South Africa will have their first practice session at the venue on the morning of February 9. At Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, the seating capacity has been expanded, and brand-new chairs have been installed throughout the stadium. Fans can look forward to an enhanced viewing experience with 480 advanced LED lights improving the broadcast quality and two massive digital replay screens, sized 80×30 feet and 22×35 feet. Additionally, a new hospitality enclosure for players and officials will be fully operational to provide top-notch facilities.
Karachi’s National Bank Stadium has also undergone major improvements. These include the installation of 350 LED lights to ensure top-quality broadcasts, two digital replay screens for better visuals, and 5,000 new chairs for improved spectator comfort. A new hospitality enclosure at the University End has been built to offer modern amenities to players and officials.
