In recent times, Pakistan has implemented stricter airport regulations, which have led to a significant increase in deportations and offloading of passengers from several countries. These new measures, designed to ensure that only legitimate travelers leave the country, have been especially focused on individuals traveling to Gulf nations and other foreign destinations.
Over 50 Pakistanis have already been deported due to various issues such as visa problems, overstaying in foreign countries, or involvement in illegal activities. Some of the countries affected by this new regulation include Saudi Arabia, the United States, the UAE, and Sweden.
The majority of deportees arrived from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Many of these individuals were sent back because they overstayed their visas or had lost their passports. Some were deported due to complaints from their sponsors or involvement in criminal activities, including drug trafficking and begging.
In addition to Saudi Arabia, Pakistanis have also been deported from countries like the US, Sweden, Oman, and the UAE. For instance, one Pakistani was deported from Sweden for overstaying his visa, while two others were sent back from the US for entering the country without proper documentation.
Pakistan’s financial capital, Karachi, also witnessed several passengers being offloaded at the airport. These passengers were found to be traveling without the required travel documents, further stressing the importance of having all the necessary paperwork before attempting to travel abroad.
These actions are part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to tighten immigration controls and make sure that all travelers adhere to the country’s stringent travel and documentation standards. By strengthening these regulations, the Pakistani government aims to curb illegal immigration and promote safer travel for its citizens.
