This decision was announced through a notification issued by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department of KP. The ban applies to all districts, including the newly merged areas, and aims to ensure compliance from school administrations.
No More School Trips for Students
According to the notification, government schools in KP are no longer allowed to arrange any kind of trips for students. This includes educational tours, recreational picnics, and other school-organized outings. Authorities have instructed school management to strictly follow this rule and avoid any violations.
Section 144 Enforced on Junk Food Sale Near Schools
In a related move, the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar has enforced Section 144, banning the sale of junk food near schools. The restriction applies to a 150-meter radius around educational institutions. This decision was taken to protect students from consuming unhealthy food, which can negatively impact their health.
Authorities have warned that legal action will be taken against vendors caught selling low-quality chips, snacks, and other junk food near schools. This order will remain in effect for 30 days, ensuring that students have access to healthier food options.
