The storyline revolves around a daring heist to steal the coveted Champions Trophy and the iconic white jackets awarded to the winners. The promo begins with Shaheen Afridi leading the operation, navigating a high-security vault filled with lasers and motion sensors. The suspense and excitement match the intensity of a cricket Super Over!
Shadab Khan adds flair as Shaheen’s trusted partner, lowering him into the vault through an air vent in a scene that looks straight out of a blockbuster movie. Hardik Pandya showcases his athleticism by dodging lasers with acrobatic moves reminiscent of an action star. Phil Salt appears with dramatic style, and Mohammad Nabi brings his own unique energy to the mission by sneaking in through underground routes.
The campaign also gave a nod to WWE fans earlier when ICC released another clip featuring Shaheen, Shadab, and Phil Salt pulling off a fist bump inspired by The Shield wrestling group.
While fans loved the creativity of the promo, some couldn’t help but notice a bit of controversy. Many pointed out that Hardik Pandya’s scenes looked like they were shot in front of a green screen, leading to speculation about his absence from the main shoot.
