The ICC (International Cricket Council) has officially started building excitement for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 with a creative campaign titled “All On The Line.” This isn’t your typical cricket promo – it’s a cinematic treat inspired by Mission Impossible!
The promo stars some of cricket’s biggest names, including Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi, England’s Phil Salt, and India’s Hardik Pandya. Each player takes on a thrilling role in this action-packed teaser.
The storyline revolves around a daring heist to steal the coveted Champions Trophy and the iconic white jackets awarded to the winners. The promo begins with Shaheen Afridi leading the operation, navigating a high-security vault filled with lasers and motion sensors. The suspense and excitement match the intensity of a cricket Super Over!
Shadab Khan adds flair as Shaheen’s trusted partner, lowering him into the vault through an air vent in a scene that looks straight out of a blockbuster movie. Hardik Pandya showcases his athleticism by dodging lasers with acrobatic moves reminiscent of an action star. Phil Salt appears with dramatic style, and Mohammad Nabi brings his own unique energy to the mission by sneaking in through underground routes.
The campaign also gave a nod to WWE fans earlier when ICC released another clip featuring Shaheen, Shadab, and Phil Salt pulling off a fist bump inspired by The Shield wrestling group.
While fans loved the creativity of the promo, some couldn’t help but notice a bit of controversy. Many pointed out that Hardik Pandya’s scenes looked like they were shot in front of a green screen, leading to speculation about his absence from the main shoot. This observation comes amid India’s recent controversial moves, such as shifting their matches to Dubai instead of Pakistan and allegedly influencing ICC decisions.
The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 will be hosted by Pakistan from February 19 to March 9. Four matches will also take place in the UAE, adding an international touch to the tournament. Cricket lovers can look forward to seeing the top eight teams in the world competing in 15 thrilling matches to win one of the most prestigious trophies in cricket.
The promo sets the perfect tone for what promises to be a highly anticipated event, blending cricket with entertainment to keep fans hooked. Stay tuned as the countdown to the Champions Trophy 2025 begins!
