The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that fans who bought tickets for the two ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches that were abandoned in Rawalpindi will receive full refunds. The affected matches are Australia vs South Africa on February 25 and Bangladesh vs Pakistan on February 27, both of which were called off without a single ball being bowled.
Refund Policy and Eligibility
According to the PCB’s official ticket refund policy, fans who purchased tickets for matches abandoned before the toss are entitled to a full refund. This applies to all general enclosure tickets, but those who purchased hospitality tickets—including corporate boxes and PCB gallery passes—are not eligible for a refund.
Fans must claim their refunds in person and cannot send someone else on their behalf. Additionally, they must present their original, undamaged tickets as proof of purchase.
Refund Collection Dates and Locations
Refunds will be available from Monday, March 10, 2025, to Friday, March 14, 2025. The PCB has strictly stated that refund requests made after this period will not be accepted.
