As we step into 2025, the world welcomes a new generation known as “Generation Beta.” This generation includes all children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2039. Marking the start of an exciting era, Generation Beta represents a future deeply intertwined with technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and innovation.
Every generation has been named based on significant historical, cultural, or economic events of their time. From wars to technological revolutions, each generation reflects the challenges and advancements of its era. For the upcoming Generation Beta, technology will define their upbringing, shaping their education, communication, and lifestyle.
The naming of generations began in the 20th century. The first named generation was the “Greatest Generation,” comprising individuals born between 1901 and 1927. This generation lived through the Great Depression and participated in World War II. Their resilience and contributions earned them the title “Greatest.”
Following them, the “Silent Generation” emerged, born between 1928 and 1945. This group experienced economic hardships and the aftermath of World War II, adapting to a world undergoing significant change.
From 1946 to 1964 came the “Baby Boomers,” a generation born during a time of rapid population growth after the war. This group embraced modernity, raising families in a time of economic prosperity.

Following them, “Generation Z” was born between 1997 and 2009. These individuals grew up surrounded by social media and smartphones, becoming digital natives with a unique understanding of online platforms.
The “Alpha Generation” (2010–2024) represents the first group born into a world where social media and smart devices were already a norm. These children were raised by tech-savvy parents and embraced the digital age from birth.
Now, with the arrival of Generation Beta, the world is poised for an even more tech-centric future. These children will grow up with advancements in AI, robotics, and virtual reality. They will experience a world where technology seamlessly integrates into every aspect of life, from education to healthcare.
