Great news for cricket lovers! The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to allow free entry for eight matches of the National T20 Cup 2025. These matches will be held at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium from March 14 to 20, giving fans a golden opportunity to enjoy thrilling T20 action without any cost.
PCB’s Effort to Promote National T20 Cup
The PCB aims to increase the popularity of the National T20 Cup with this decision. Tournament Schedule and Teams
The National T20 Cup 2025 will run from March 14 to 27 and will feature 18 teams from 16 different regions. The matches will be hosted in three major cities: Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.
The teams are divided into four groups:
- Group A: Karachi Region (Blues), Lahore Region (Whites), Larkana Region, Peshawar Region, and Quetta Region.
- Group B: Karachi Region (Whites), Bahawalpur Region, Dera Murad Jamali Region, Islamabad Region, and Lahore Region (Blues).
- Group C: Abbottabad Region, Faisalabad Region, Hyderabad Region, and Rawalpindi Region.
- Group D: AJK Region, FATA Region, Multan Region, and Sialkot Region.
After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, which are set for March 23 and 24 in Faisalabad.
Knockout Matches and Venues
A total of 23 matches, including all seven knockout matches, will be played in Faisalabad. Other matches will take place at Multan Cricket Stadium (8 matches) and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA Cricket Ground (8 matches). The final will also be hosted in Faisalabad, making it the central hub of the tournament.
Ticketing Information for the Remaining Matches
While eight matches have free entry, the PCB will release details about ticket prices for the remaining games, including the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final, at a later date. Fans should keep an eye out for official announcements regarding ticket availability.
