Significance of Ramadan
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered one of the holiest months in Islam. It is a time of fasting, prayer, and deep spiritual reflection. Muslims around the world observe this month with devotion, seeking forgiveness and blessings from Allah.
Fasting during Ramadan involves abstaining from food, drink, and negative behaviors such as gossiping and using harsh words from dawn until sunset. This practice encourages self-discipline, patience, and kindness. Believers are also encouraged to engage in acts of worship such as offering prayers, reciting the Quran, and performing charitable deeds to help those in need.
