Pakistanis are enjoying a refreshing change in weather as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts more rain, snowfall, and cooler temperatures across various regions. This pleasant weather is providing much-needed relief, especially for those fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
Recent showers in cities like Lahore have made the mornings cool and comfortable. Light rain was recorded in several areas, including Model Town, Gulberg, Garden Town, Mall Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Jail Road, Kalma Chowk, Sanda, and Gulshan Ravi. However, some areas faced power outages due to the rain.
In the upper parts of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, the Potohar region, and Islamabad, temperatures have dropped, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Many people are finding it easier to focus on prayer, reflection, and community gatherings during this spiritually significant month.
According to the PMD, heavy rainfall and snowfall are expected in isolated areas, particularly in upper KP, Potohar, and Kashmir. The scenic beauty of snow-covered mountains and rain-washed landscapes is adding to the joy of Ramadan, making it a truly special time for many.
Apart from making fasting more manageable, the cool weather is allowing families to spend quality time outdoors in the evenings. People are stepping out for walks and small gatherings while following safety precautions. The refreshing air, combined with the spiritual significance of the month, is bringing a sense of peace and gratitude to communities across Pakistan.
As Ramadan progresses, the beautiful weather continues to uplift the spirits of millions. It serves as a reminder to cherish these moments, appreciate nature’s blessings, and strengthen bonds with loved ones. While enjoying this weather, people are encouraged to stay safe, remain grateful, and make the most of this holy month.
