
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir recently visited Warminster and Larkhill Garrisons in the United Kingdom at the invitation of British Army’s Chief of General Staff, General Roland Walker. This visit was part of his official trip to the UK, where he engaged in high-level military discussions and attended an important defense conference.
During his visit, General Asim Munir was given a detailed briefing on the British Army’s modernization efforts and the Deep Recce Strike Brigade. According to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the briefing covered various advanced military strategies and showcased cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and uncrewed systems. These advancements highlight the British Army’s focus on innovation and future warfare strategies.
Earlier this week, General Asim Munir arrived in the UK to participate in the 7th Regional Stabilization Conference, held at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech on “The Emerging World Order and Pakistan’s Future Outlook,” a topic that is particularly relevant in today’s rapidly evolving global scenario.
