The Sindh government has launched a brand-new job portal to help people find work easily. This online platform aims to connect job seekers with opportunities in both government and private sector organizations.
At the launch event, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, and several business leaders were present. The event was covered by Express News, highlighting the government’s commitment to creating employment opportunities for the people of Sindh.
Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon shared that 65% of Pakistan’s population consists of young people, and this job portal has been designed specifically to help them. He explained that both educated individuals and skilled workers can upload their CVs and apply for different jobs available on the platform.
In addition to government jobs, the portal also connects job seekers with private sector employers. Many young people dream of getting government jobs, but there are also several private job opportunities available. The government has also been working on projects like the People’s Housing Scheme, which is creating jobs for skilled workers.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah spoke about the importance of this initiative, saying that the job portal will help the province’s youth register for various job opportunities. He emphasized that when talented people get the right opportunities, progress follows. He encouraged both job seekers and employers to use the platform actively.
For government jobs, the portal will feature job listings for grades 1 to 4, while positions for grades 5 to 15 will be filled through the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) to ensure a fair and transparent hiring process. Temporary jobs will also be available on the portal, and efforts are being made to spread awareness about this platform so more people can benefit from it.
The Sindh government, under the leadership of the PPP, has been working on various projects to support people, especially after the recent floods. Chief Minister Shah mentioned that, following Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision, a major housing project for 2.1 million homes has been started, and over 800,000 houses have already been completed. He noted that if all these houses were considered as a separate country, they would outnumber 800 nations worldwide.
This job portal is a big step towards reducing unemployment in Sindh and helping people find work more easily. The government is dedicated to providing better opportunities and making sure that job seekers get the right platform to connect with employers.
