Private schools in Lahore have started a bus service for their students following orders from the Lahore High Court (LHC). This step is aimed at providing safe and convenient transportation for children and is being praised by parents and officials alike.
Renowned private schools such as Lahore Grammar School (LGS), Lacas School System, The City School, Beaconhouse School, and Learning Alliance have all launched this service. The move came right after the winter holidays, and many students are already using these buses to reach their schools.
Parents have expressed their relief and satisfaction, noting that this service reduces the stress of arranging transportation and ensures their children travel in a safer environment. Educational authorities have also welcomed this initiative. Malik Nazeer Husain, the Chief Executive Officer of Education Lahore, commended the schools for taking this step, highlighting the importance of secure and dependable travel options for students.
The District Education Authority has further directed all private schools in Lahore to comply with the court’s instructions and start similar services for their students. These measures are expected to bring convenience to families while ensuring children’s safety during their commute.
This development is a positive change for Lahore’s educational landscape and marks a step forward in prioritizing students’ needs.
