Dubai’s government has introduced an exciting initiative to encourage young people to get married by offering valuable rewards to newlywed couples. This groundbreaking announcement aims to support families and improve their living standards.
As part of this program, a massive housing project with 3,004 new homes will be launched across Dubai. These homes will be provided to newly married couples, making it easier for them to start their lives together. The project, with an estimated cost of 5.4 billion dirhams, reflects Dubai’s commitment to supporting its residents.
In addition to housing, the initiative includes several other benefits. Couples working in government jobs will receive a 10-day paid leave for their wedding, allowing them time to celebrate their special day. Moreover, mothers will have the option to work from home every Friday during the first year after childbirth.
To further ease the financial burden, the program reduces the monthly housing loan payments for eligible beneficiaries to as low as 3,333 dirhams. This option is available for families with a monthly income not exceeding 30,000 dirhams.
The announcement was made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He emphasized that the initiative aims to encourage young people to get married, provide suitable housing for families, and enhance their overall quality of life.
This thoughtful program not only promotes the importance of marriage but also ensures a strong foundation for young couples to build their futures in Dubai. The innovative measures reflect Dubai’s commitment to fostering a happy and secure community.
