A massive aid convoy of 75 trucks has set off for Parachinar, a district in Pakistan, carrying vital supplies for the local population. This operation has been launched under tight security, with the goal of ensuring that the people of Parachinar receive the goods they urgently need. The convoy includes trucks filled with essential items like medicines, food, and other daily necessities.
The convoy was officially sent off by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Adviser on Information, Barrister Dr. Saif, who traveled to Kohat to oversee the process. His visit followed the instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur. Barrister Saif, along with several key officials including the Kohat Commissioner, District Police Chief (DIG), and others from the district administration, proceeded to the Kurram border area of Chappri, where the trucks were gathered.
The convoy is made up of various types of trucks, including 22-wheelers, 10-wheelers, and 6-wheelers, all carefully arranged for maximum security. These trucks are carrying a wide range of goods to help the people of Parachinar. Among the supplies being transported are five trucks of medicines, ten trucks of vegetables, nine trucks filled with oil and ghee, five trucks of flour, seven trucks of sugar, and two trucks with gas cylinders. Additionally, there are 26 trucks carrying various grocery items that are crucial for the local community.
The convoy’s route is being carefully secured by local police and law enforcement agencies, who are ensuring the safety of the operation. The government has made it clear that security is a top priority, and any group or individual who engages in violence after the peace agreement with Kurram district will be treated as terrorists. This strong statement is intended to prevent any disruptions to the aid process and to maintain order in the region.

The government has made it clear that any attempt to build new bunkers will be prohibited, and any existing bunkers must be dismantled within a month. This step is part of a larger plan to ensure long-term stability and peace in the area.
Barrister Dr. Saif explained that both sides involved in the agreement will need to submit a plan for the surrender of weapons within the next 15 days.
