The Chinese company plans to bring in state-of-the-art initiatives that will not only improve the IT sector but also create smart, sustainable cities in the region. One of the main highlights of this investment is the introduction of an e-taxi service in Lahore. This modern transportation system aims to offer an eco-friendly and efficient way of moving around the city. Furthermore, the project includes the development of advanced cloud and data centers at the Nawaz Sharif IT City, which will enhance digital infrastructure and support various online businesses.
The investment will also help create Pakistan’s first-ever e-commerce platform. This platform is expected to play a major role in the country’s digital economy by offering training for young people, especially in global online trading. The goal is to prepare the youth for the expanding digital job market and provide them with skills needed for the future.
